It was a pleasure to support producer Jafar Iqbal and work as director (alongside director Tafsila Khan) for a week-long R&D with four different South Asian writers based in Wales - Jannat Ahmed, Amir Khan, Rehnaz Khan, and Mariyah Zaman. We explored ideas, short pieces, staged scenes and discussed potential avenues for the futures of the pieces.
