Colour Inside The Lines by Jamila Gavin

National Theatre's New Views Festival is taking place online this week!

I've directed a stellar cast in Colour Inside The Lines which is being shared on Thursday 8 July at 5.30pm

"Young artist Khalil is preparing his application to art college. Him and his best friend Bo itching to venture into a world of free thinkers. However, soon he's forced to face questions that he'd tried so hard to avoid: about his art, relationships, identity and how he navigates the world."

From the National:

"We had over 400 submissions this year, and 600 across the last two years, and the standard was exceptional. The nine pieces we are sharing with you as part of the festival are a taster of the amazing range of stories and ideas that we were lucky enough to read.

A selection of pieces will be released on our website each day between the 5th-9th July, all free to watch and available until Friday 6 August, 1 month after the festival. Every piece is captioned and BSL interpreted."
