As part of WMC's Creative Voice course, on behalf of Common Wealth, I created and facilitated a 6 week cross-art form workshops series. Young people created a portfolio including film, photography, spoken word poetry, audio and creative writing. Their subject matters included women in martial arts, podcasts for grandparents, and the power of Welsh language in schools.
Creative Voice is a unique six week programme offering young people the platform to explore their interests, express themselves, build creative confidence, and to share their narrative through practical learning.
"During this six week course we’ll get creative using multiple art-forms including audio, film, theatre and photography while sharing stories about who we are, and the change we want to make in the world.
Led by Sita Thomas, Co-Artistic Director of Common Wealth and TV presenter, this series of workshops will be fun, engaging and will question how we see and represent ourselves in the world."
